On our way to Coachella, my friends and I made a pit stop to Salvation Mountain. I’ve been seeing pictures of this place all over my insta, and I have been dying to check it out. So, we veered off the I-10 and headed to the middle of the desert. The mountain was created by Leonard Knight who painted it because he loved God and people. All over the mountain and the surrounding abandoned cars are bible verses and messages about love. This was such a cool experience, and I’m so happy that we decided to stop here. If you’re ever in southern California, I highly recommend making the journey to check out this one of a kind structure.
